Mech Battle game

I’m thinking a face to face battle, like Battle Clash or Punch Out. Where you are an outline and there is a large mech that you fight. On a C64 for example it would need to be AGSP scroller for the mech. The trick here is going to be making it fun and having enough variety to keep it interesting.
